Georgia maps
[edit]Hello, Urmas! I found your maps of Georgia divisions on the Estonian Wikipedia and uploaded them here, thank you for making them. ChrisO shares my opinion about how good they are by saying "Nice maps - well done!" on my talk page. Are you planing to expand the articles on Georgia subdivisions on English Wikipedia, too? --romanm (talk) 23:45, 12 Sep 2004 (UTC)
Unverified images
[edit]Hi! Thanks for uploading the following image:
I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GNU Free Documentation License, {{PD-self}} if you wish to release your own work to the public domain, {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know at my talk page where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much. Peter O. (Talk, automation script) 21:21, Dec 25, 2004 (UTC)
P.S. You can help tag other images at User:Yann/Untagged_Images. Thanks again.
Image source
[edit]Thank you for uploading Image:Az-qa-kaart-en.PNG. Its copyright status is unclear, so it may have to be deleted. Please leave a note on the image page about the source of the image. Thank you. --Ellmist 05:01, 18 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Image:LaaneAsend.jpg listed for deletion
[edit]An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:LaaneAsend.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in its not being deleted. Thank you. —Nv8200p talk 14:39, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Municipality maps for Estonia
[edit]Urmas - I don't know you and you don't know me. However, I feel I must give you a talk about wikiquette (or etiquette). When you come across a map that a user (like me) has created, the proper protocol is to (1) notify the user that created the map that it has a discrepancy (to give that user time to fix the discrepancy) or (2) offer to replace the map if the user doesn't mind. To simply replace the map(s) like you did to mine, without allowing me the time to update them, is rude and inconsiderate. I have reverted the changes you made (since I have now updated those maps). Please - next time let me know and you will see that I will update the map(s) in a timely manner. Thank you. Rarelibra 19:22, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Kartenwerkstatt/Kartenwünsche
[edit]A tag has been placed on Kartenwerkstatt/Kartenwünsche, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Moreover, please add more verifiable sources, not only 3rd party sources. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. De728631 (talk) 18:12, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
